Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church wants to invite you to the 2015 Minister’s Meeting. We will begin the meeting at 9:30 am on November 10, and conclude at noon on November 12. The theme for this years meeting is “The Church: Its Purpose and Power”. We are living in a very dark time in the history of God’s kingdom, but we know that a light shines the brightest in dark times. We as the church of Jesus Christ need to know how to shine our lights. One of the purposes of the church is to bring life and immortality to light through the gospel, and the power is Holy Spirit God. How do we do this in our local churches? Our churches should be the pillars and the ground of the truth in our families, neighborhoods, schools, and work places.

We need God’s presence in our churches more today than anytime in the history of the church. Please plan to be with us at Shoal Creek for this spiritual time of learning and fellowship. If you are planning to be with us, the church at Shoal Creek requests that you please reply to us (RSVP) so we can better serve you at this meeting. We will serve all the meals, and have a motel lined up for your stay. Please let us know by Oct. 1st if you can be with us. During this year’s meeting, we will have more time for prayers and dialogue. Every year it is always asked what the dress code for the meeting is; it is “Church Casual” which means dress comfortable. We will also take up a” Love Offering/Contributions” to help with the expense of the meeting. We are planning to spend three days learning from God’s word, and we want to treat you as best as we can and make you as comfortable as possible. Please start now praying for this Minister’s Meeting, because without God’s blessing, it will not prosper. The Minister’s wives are planning their “Retreat” again this year. Any minister’s wife is invited to attend. If you want to know more about this please contact Debra Cagle at 770-853-1156 and she can reserve you a place.
The motel we have arranged for your stay is in Jasper, GA 12 miles from the church.
